Since graduating from NIDA in 2007, Don Christopher has worked extensively in both the Australian film and television industry. Before completing his graduation year at NIDA, Don was cast as Jim Sivilich in the Screen Australia and Network Ten production ‘The Informant’ directed by Peter Andrikidis, alongside some of Australia’s leading actors.
In 2008 he then went on to play roles on some of Australia’s most successful television series, Seven Network’s ‘Packed to the Rafters’ and Australia’s long-time running hospital drama series ‘All Saints’. During 2008, Don was also cast in three short films for the 2009 Film Festival Award Season: ‘Mary’ directed by James Nicholas; ‘Blind Date’( an official selection of the Florence International Film Festival) directed by Chris Ramos and in association with NAFA productions and; ‘Under the Line’, directed by Matt MaCaloon. Don has also appeared in sketch comedy show ‘Entertainment Eye’ , the Australian film ‘ Being in Heaven’, directed by Michael Domenyko Rowland and ‘Home and Away’. Don tutors drama courses for both youth and adult programs and has been apart of various screen actor programs over the last three years.
